July 2025 AGR Recruitment Event

The brothers of Beta Gamma just wrapped up a great weekend in Platteville. We had a very successful scholarship event Saturday morning organized by our VNR – Recruitment Jack Tarnutzer. This was our first time putting on this kind of event and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The remainder of the day was spent doing some work around the chapter house and we even worked together to move the Robert Campbell memorial stone to the front of the house. To cap off the weekends excitement we all piled into the cars to go and help herd some misbehaving heifers at the campus farm.

Thank you to all that attended our scholarship event, and a very big thank you to Aaron and Stephanie Tarnutzer for their generosity in donating the food for the day.

BILSA Golf Outing – August 15, 2025

Each year the Beta Gamma Alumni Association is a Hole Sponsor the “Alumni Golf Outing” that supports BILSA Scholarships.

This year’s outing will be held on August 15th at the Oaks Golf Course near Cottage Grove (10am-3pm). The outing is a great opportunity to see many AGR brothers and old college classmates.

If you’re not a golfer please plan to attend the reception and silent auction after the golfing ends.

UW-Platteville Alpha Gamma Rho Ag Fest – Sept. 12th, 2025

The undergraduate brothers of UW-Platteville Alpha Gamma Rho invite you to attend Ag Fest on Friday September 12th, 5pm. The event will be held at the AGR house, located at 845 W Madison Street, Platteville, WI.‎

The event will include a live band, meal, and other entertainment at the house. We invite alumni and friends back to the AGR house to enjoy the event. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the UWP School of Agriculture. We have three different sponsorship levels of donors for this event. Please consider contributing to this great cause!

Oaktoberfest, The Oaks, Cottage Grove – September 14, 2025

UW-Platteville Homecoming – Sept. 28th – Oct. 4th, 2025

Make plans to attend this year’s homecoming week at UW-Platteville! This week will be filled with student activities, alumni reunions, athletic events, and Pioneer spirit.

The homecoming parade will be Saturday, October 4th at 10am. We would like to invite all alumni and brothers to attend a tailgate cookout starting at 11am Saturday, as well as the UW-Platteville football game starting at 1pm!

UW-Platteville will also have the ceremonial “Lighting of the M” at 8:30pm Saturday night as part of the homecoming tradition.
