Lori K. Fisher (Wife of Brother Michael Fisher) – November 12, 1956 – April 21, 2026
Dodgeville – Lori K. Fisher, age 69, of Dodgeville passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, to be with the heavenly father. Lori was born on November 12, 1956 in Darlington, Wisconsin to Roy and Regina (Boyle) Carpenter. Her siblings include Brother Michael and Sisters Sharon, Karen and Carol. Lori graduated in 1975 from Darlington High School and went on to earn a B.S. and M.S. in counseling psychology from UW-Platteville. She had many good friends in college especially the Kappa Alpha Sigma Sorority and Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.
On July 29, 1983 Lori Married Dr. Michael C. Fisher in Platteville, WI. Lori and Michael went the dog route for children and were “foster failures” as there was never a dog they fostered that they did not keep.
Lori was employed at UW-Platteville, Marquette University and the Medical College of Wisconsin in College Student Personnel. She then worked with her husband Michael in his Dental Practice until he retired in 2018.
A person who would give anyone, anything they needed, Lori requests that we treat others with dignity and respect in these challenging times.
The family requests no gifts. A celebration of Lori’s life will be held in the future.
Memorials in Lori’s name may be given to Golden Retriever Rescue of Wisconsin and the Iowa County Human Society and sent to Gorgen Funeral Services, 400 East Grace Street, Dodgeville, WI 53533.
